Who says you can’t be an internet millionaire?

There is a common myth these days that say you are too late to easily strike gold on the internet. The reason behind that myth surviving is that the persons who say so are the ones who failed to strike gold. They failed because they gave up too soon.

The going myth states that the bloggers who make money online, or the people who do home based businesses online and are successful are only so because they started back in the 90′s. That statement is simply false. The only difference between you and those successful e-preneurs are that they have had a head start and already established themselves to search engines like Google. That gives their website an authority factor that you have not yet reached. The way to reach that authority factor is through persistence. You have to keep up with it and not give up on the first sign of things taking time to kick off.

The fact is that to strike it rich online you either have to be in the right place at the right time, with the right product or service…. OR you have to give it time and you will succeed. Blogging your way to cash that will sustain you and pay all of your bills requires you to establish your weblog and get your pages indexed. You need to write even though you do not see ad revenues right away. If you KNOW they will come then you can be worry-free about it and write quality articles that add to the content-mass of your site.

If you are looking for a “get rich quick scheme” then go elsewhere. I am blogging reality right now. Everyone has dreams of getting rich by pushing the easy button, but that notion dies away after awhile. Hopefully by the time you realize that getting rich isn’t easy, you will not have been turned off completely on internet based businesses.

By the time you are reading this, I assume you are either past that point, and looking for viable ways to make money, or you are new to the game and I can help you avoid the mistakes that waste time.

If you are in the service business then the best way to go about it is to create a website and market it as best you can. Post to classifieds, install a blog, and update it regularly. Get traffic to that website.

If you do not yet have a business you will have to decide what you do best, or what you enjoy doing most. Remember that you are building a business, so you have to like it to some degree. Otherwise you will have build a business that you grow to hate even more and you might as well just work a full time job for someone else.

I enjoy writing, so I established this blog to move away from my service based business that currently brings me the bulk of my income. My goal is to have this blog pay all of my bills plus some and free up my time so that I may spend it with my family. When you do something you love, or even like, your attitude changes. You do not feel drained doing your work. So no matter what you decide to do, make 100% sure that you are ready to do it for the rest of your life or until you retire.
