Some great movies on my list

I have come across some great movies. I am sure that you have seen alot of them, but maybe I can influence your next movie rental decision if you have not seen something on my list. Here goes…

  • Fight Club – Now I am not one to brag, but my youngest son was conceived during the viewing of this movie. That probably seems sadistic to those of you who have seen it, but hey I am not one to complain about getting laid either. I don’t know why but it was an afrodesiac. The movie is about a guy who has a boring predictable life and ends up chaotic. I can’t get into detail without spoiling the movie but I can tell you that Brad Pitt is in it. Go rent it. I bought it.
  • Knowing – This is a new one as of this post. It is about a guy who predicts every major world disaster. It has Nicholas Cage. Chances are right now you cannot get a copy at your local video store because they are all rented out. But try anyway.
  • Star Trek (2009) – This is a great movie. It is about the OLD crew of the enterprise and how they meet. The ending really killed me though because it changes everything you know about Star Trek from past shows. Also, if you ever wanted to know about Captain Kirk’s childhood then this is the movie that gives you a glimpse.
  • Friday – If you are a pot head then you already own this movie. Back when it came out (a long time ago) I watched the movie so many times that the video got warped. It’s on dvd now though. It has Chris Tucker and Ice Cube. Funny shit.
  • Jumper – Every man’s fantasy, to be able to disappear and reappear somewhere else (like maybe a girl’s locker room). Or you can rob a bank without actually risking anything. If only…
  • I Am Legend – Will Smith in another great film. I saw this in the theater and me being a believer in supernatural things as well as science going fucked up and wild, I couldn’t help but look at my windows all night. Dammit. But if you get the dvd there is an alternate ending that should have been the theatrical ending (in order to leave an opening for a sequel).
  • The Covenant – I have always loved warlock movies. Anything with people having powers to move shit or fly has my attention. Maybe because I was always wanting to be somewhere else or take control of my fucked up childhood.
  • No Time For Sergeants – This probably surprises you. It is an old black and white war movie. But funny as fuck! It has that dude… um forgot his name. He played the sheriff in that stupid show with Barney Phife. You know who I’m talkin’ about. But the movie is about him being a country hick that gets drafted. You can probably only find this one on Amazon or something.
  • Whoopie Boys – The funniest fucking 80′s movie you will ever see. It is about some bad mannered guys who end up in a charm school with a bunch of nutballs. It has that weird nerd with the glasses that was in War Games. You probably will only find this on vhs. If you find it on dvd let me know so I can buy it.
