Everyone has their price
Now there was a day when I didn’t believe this. PirateBay.org for example when they slammed threatening letters and emails from attorneys and make their remarks public. I thought they would never give in. But recently after losing a lawsuit for millions they decided to sell their site for millions. It isn’t just a coincidence that their sale price matches the amount awarded in the lawsuit. They finally had their price.
Will I sell this blog if I had the chance? Fuck yeah! But it isn’t going to be cheap. I prefer an outlet to talk shit. And I am not a cheap money whore. But I DO have my price. I just won’t let you know what it is.
When it comes to other things then there is no price that can buy me. One time I was offered $800,000 for a song that I wrote. The thing is that it was a song that meant something to me as a recording artist. I had already recorded it also and it was produced by a platinum artist/producer. I was not about to sell the song so someone else can perform it for ANY price. I only saw myself performing that song.
You may also have things you are unwilling to budge on, but if you say you cannot be bought then you are full of shit. You are probably just not experienced enough yet to know that you can be bought. It is just a matter of on what issue and how much.
